Complaint filed against Hero Alam for embezzlement

For embezzlement and making death threats in Gazipur, a young person has submitted a written complaint against Hero Alam.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mohammad Moniruzzaman said that Rubel Munshi (22) accused Hero Alam and his two associates in a complaint he submitted at the Sreepur police station in Gazipur.

Ashraful Hossain also known as Hero Alam (35) is accused together with Md. Limon (25) and Md. Shuvo (30).

In the complaint, Munshi stated that he had previously worked for Hero Alom’s online company for a Tk 10,000 monthly wage.

Hero Alom also received a loan from him in 2021 for Tk 20,000. He also gave Hero Alom Tk 70,000 (equal to seven months worth of income) for savings.

Munshi quit his job five months ago and took a job at Yan Food Company in Sreepur, Gazipur.

The complaint states that “Hero Alom and the two people arrived in front of Munshi’s current workplace on Thursday, August 4, 2022, at about 11 p.m. In order to refund the money, Alom later asked Munshi to come out. Then Alom drove him to a place known as the medical roundabout after picking him up in a private car. Hero Alom grabbed his laptop and, with the help of his buddies, hacked his Gmail and Facebook accounts there before releasing him at around 3 a.m..”

Later, according to Munshi, Hero Alom threatened to hurt him if he reported the incident to the police.

Sreepur police OC Moniruzzaman said that an investigation is underway to reveal more details of the incident.
