Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) arrested four people with drugs, including 15,000 Yaba pills, in the capital yesterday and Friday. Rab-10 yesterday arrested Md Abdur Rahim, an alleged dealer, near Shonir Akhra in Jatrabari and recovered the Yaba pills from the bumper of the Tata Ace pickup van he was driving, said Rab officials. Abdur brought the pills from Cox’s Bazar, the sources added.
Meanwhile, Rab-3 personnel arrested Rajib Alam Chowdhury, Saiful, and Kamruzzaman Kafi at the garage of a building in Bashundhara area of Bhatara on Friday night, said a press release.
They seized 415 bottles of Phensedyl and 35 bottles of Recodex (an illegal cough syrup), a laptop and a car inside which they found the drugs, it added.
