The Polar Ice Cream 21st School Handball Tournament (Boys & Girls), organised by Bangladesh Handball Federation, will begin on Monday at the Shaheed (Captain) Mansoor Ali National Handball Stadium. Secretary of the Ministry of Youth and Sports Nur Mohammad will inaugurate the meet to be participated by 17 schools in boys group and14 schools in girls section. Chief Operating Officer of the meet’ s sponsor Polar Ice Cream Toufiqur Rahman will be the special guest on the occasion.
Sunny Dale School will face BAF Shaheen School & College in the inaugural match soon after the inaugural function.
General Secretary of Bangladesh Handball Federation Asaduzzaman Kohinoor disclosed the details of the tournament at a press conference at the federation office on Saturday.
Marketing Manager of Polar Ice Cream Abdullah Al Mamun, Chairman of the Tournament Committee for Boys Golam Habib, Chairman of the Tournament Committee for Girls Hamida Begum and Tournament Secretary Selim Miah Babu also spoke on the occasion.
