Two promoted clubs from the Pioneer League – Matuail Udayan Sangsad and Nasrin Football Academy – will face each other in the inaugural match of the Super Shine Cables
Third Division Football League today at the Mostafa Kamal Stadium.
The Third Division League will be held with a total of 20 participating clubs split into two groups where the top five teams from each group will move into the super league.
The top three teams of the super league will then
be promoted to the Second Division League and the bottom two teams will be relegated to the Pioneer League.
Cable Company Sun Shine Cables will provide 10 lakh as sponsorship money but the budget of the meet is Tk 25 lakh. The rest of the expenditure will be distributed from the fund of the Bangladesh Football Federation.
Each team will receive Tk 20, 000 as participation money.
Information Minister Hasanul Haque Inu is expected to inaugurate the meet as chief guest.
