Four comprehensive international exhibitions, organised by the CEMS-Global USA, began in Dhaka’s International Convention City Bashundhara today.
The three-day exhibitions are: 5th Int’l Health Tourism & Services Expo Bangladesh 2022, 27th Build Bangladesh Expo 2022, 4th Water Bangladesh International Expo 2022 and 4th Dhaka International Lighting Expo 2022.
Some 350 stalls were set up at the exhibitions, where more than 250 companies from eight countries, including 35 companies from India, have taken part.
Industries Minister Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun inaugurated the exhibition that will be opened from 10:30 am to 8 pm.
The exhibitions will be a fantastic one-stop platform for showcasing the most extensive development and will focus on trade and the economy in Bangladesh, CEMS Bangladesh said in a press release.
These exhibitions are the biggest international exhibitions in Bangladesh, it said.
Addressing the evening, Humayun said this exhibition will help increase local and international direct investment, hasten industrialisation and increase export income.
Besides, this will also help provide new opportunities for earning foreign reserves, he said.
