Four people were killed and six others injured in road accidents in the city on Friday.
At Tejgaon, three people were killed and six others injured when a covered van rammed into the boundary wall of the construction site of a flyover at Sat Rasta intersection at about 1:15am.
Of the deceased, Abul Khayer, 55, a security guard of Technical Teachers Training College, was from Dighalia village of sadar upazila in Laxmipur and Mirazul Sarkar, 25, a painter, was from Char Bramanmandir of sadar upazila in Madaripur. The identity of the other deceased could not be established.
Injured Abu Taher, 48, Faruk Hossain, 50, Masud Uddin, 30, Zakir Hossain, 35, Ariful Islam, 30, and Mujibur rahman, 32, were admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
The police seized the covered van, while the driver and the helper went away.
At Khikhet, a motorcyclist was killed when speedy a track hit the bike from behind under Khilkhet flyover.
The deceased, Rabiul Islam, 42, was from Satkania in Chittagong.
