Dhaka University’s department of accounting and information science on Sunday distributed scholarships among its 62 students of bachelor’s and Master’s levels.
The state minister of science and technology, Yeafes Osman, distributed the scholarships at a function held in the morning at the faculty conference hall and presided over by the department chairman, Momtaz Uddin Ahmad.
The faculty dean, Shibli Rubayat-Ul-Islam, accounting professor Saroj Kumar Saha and Accounting Alumni Association president SM Mohiuzzaman Babar, among others, attended the occasion.
The recipients of the scholarship will be provided with Tk 2,000 per month for one year from the earnings of the evening MBA course of the university.
