70 audio, video albums released
Around 70 audio and video albums are scheduled to be released from different production houses during Eid-ul-Fitr.
Already some albums have hit the market.
This Eid, G-series is going to release the maximum number of albums that is 40 from all different genres-classic to rock, Tagore to modern. Pop/modern music and solo albums dominate the list of releases.G-series will release self-titled albums of Ustad Niaz Muhammad Chowdhury featuring some classic numbers. Papia Sarwar’s Tagore album Akash Pane Haat Baralem, Topu’s Ar Tomake, Leena Taposhi Khan and Mahzabin Khan’s duet Nazrul album Sondhya Godhuli, Porshi’s third solo Porshi 3, Shilper Ghor by band Subconscious, folk album Onuraager Bina by Rajib Shah and a few others.
Another noted production house Laser Vision is releasing 11 albums. This house has already brought Fahmida Nabi’s solo album Ichche Hoy. Other albums from the house include Milon Mahmud’s Alingon, Lutfor Hasan’s Amar Akash Purotai, Lopa Hossain’s Ashar Bhela.
New production house Eagle Music is releasing five albums during the Eid. The house is bringing back popular singer Balam with the singer’s solo album Bhuban. Beside Balam, Eagle is releasing Shafiq Tuhin’s Pabitra Prem, mixed album Ichche Dana and two other albums featuring contemporary Bangla movie songs.
Production house Sangeeta is launching mixed album Sunnyatar Ghuri, Shimul Khan’s first solo Ek Jonom and Asa’s Poran Pakhi.
CD Choice has brought out solo albums like Shahid’s Neel Chhaya, Binti’s Meghla Dine, Anisa’s Anisa 2. Another album Sampan will feature songs by a number of Chittagong based rock bands. Other mixed albums of the house are Arale, Jonom Jonom Tomake, Rajkonya, Hridoy Gobhire.
Asif Akbar is back after a hiatus of three years with his solo album titled X-Prem. The album will be released under the banner of Musical Industries Owners Association of Bangladesh.
Another promising album is Luipa’s solo Tumi Esechhile Porshu. Featuring Sachin Dev Burman’s songs, the album will be released under the banner of Impress Audio Vision.
Online music portal Incursion Music has released two albums for the Eid-underground rock band Minerva’s Biday Sangbidhan and Shironamhin by Shironamhin.
For the Eid-ul-Fitr, Impress Audio Vision is bringing out seven albums including Rezwana Chowdhury Bonnya’s Tagore album Chhutir Banshi, Ferdous Ara’a Nazrul album Dao Shourjo Dao Dhoirjo and Fakir Alamgir’s Savar Tragedy.
