2,69,602 get GPA 5

The results of this year’s Secondary School Certificate and its equivalent examinations were published on Monday.
The combined pass rate of SSC examination of all the education boards across Bangladesh and equivalent examinations in 2022 is 87.44 per cent. The rate was 93.58 per cent in 2021.
A total of 17,43,619 examinees, out of 19,94,137, passed in the combined result.
The number of the students receiving GPA 5 has increased to 2,69,602 in 2022 from 1,83,340 in 2021.
In nine general boards, the pass rate is 88.1 per cent while the pass rate in Madrassah Board is 82.22 per cent.
Besides, 89.55 per cent of the examinees passed in the technical education board.
As per the Dhaka Education Board the Result Sheet can be downloaded from the Dhaka Education Board’s website www.dhakaeducationboard.gov.bd by clicking the Result Corner and entering the educational institution’s EIIN.
The Result Sheet can also be downloaded from the www.educationboardresults.gov.bd by giving roll and registration numbers.
Examinees can also get results through SMS by typing SSC, first three letters of the board’s name, roll and Year [SSC Dha 123456 2021] and sending this to 16222.
The theoretical part of the examinations was held between September 15 and October 3, and the practical part was held from October 10-18.
Like in the past year, this year the examinations were held on a short syllabus and in two hours instead of three.
