Three secretaries have been transferred to different ministries in a reshuffle in the administration by the new government.
Liberation War Affairs secretary Nasiruddin Ahmed has been transferred to Power Department, Science and ICT secretary Mohammad Wahid uz Zaman to Water Resources Ministry and Social Welfare secretary Dewan Zakir Hossain to Industries Ministry, said a handout yesterday.
It said chairman of Bangladesh Space Research and Remote Sensing Organisation (SPARRSO) Mohammad Nazmul Huda Khan has been made acting secretary to Science and ICT Ministry, OSD of Establishment Ministry Mohammad Firoz Kibria appointed acting secretary to Liberation War Affairs Ministry.
Besides, DG of Government Employees Welfare Department AKM Azizul Haque has been transferred to Bangladesh Tariff Commission as its acting chairman and BRTA chairman Sunil Kanti Bose made acting secretary to Social Welfare Ministry.
