Md Zahurul Alam joined the Dhaka Stock Exchange as chief operating officer Monday, says a statement.
Alam, a former brigadier general of Bangladesh Army, has been serving the bourse as a director, before the new appointment, since 2008.
He graduated with honours from Dhaka University, followed by a Master’s from National University.
