Speakers at a meeting yesterday urged the people to vote for the Sundarbans to keep it in the list of the seven natural wonder’s list to boost the country’s tourism.
They said all should contribute to inclusion of the Sundarbans in the new list of seven natural wonders.
They were speaking at a discussion to mark the World Tourism Day organised by Bangladesh Wonders Promotion Foundation at the National Press Club.
Khulna City Corporation (KCC) Mayor Talukder Abdul Khalek was the chief guest at the discussion while State Minister for Water Resources Md Mahbubur Rahman and Chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Communications Ministry Sheikh Mujibur Rahman were the special guests.
