A 20-year-old junior executive of the Iffat Group was reportedly killed in the Dhaka city’s Rampura area while the police claimed that she committed suicide jumping from a high-rise building Monday afternoon.
The deceased was identified as Shayela Sharif, daughter Sharif Uddin Biswash, but no detail was available till 10:00pm.
The Rampura police claimed that lady jumped from the 11th floor of 16-storey Green Tower at 17/A on the DIT Road at East Rumpura at about 4:00pm.
‘She died after she had jumped from the building,’ Saidur Rahman, Rampura police station officer-in-charge, said.
Hospital sources said a young man went to Dhaka Medical College Hospital to see whither she had died or not.
