Bank Asia held the 5th meeting of its Shariah council at the bank’s board room at Motijheel in Dhaka on Monday.
Muhammad Mustafizur Rahman, a member of the Shariah council of the bank, presided over the meeting, said a news release.
Bank’s vice-chairman Mohammed Lakiotullah, president and managing director Erfanuddin Ahmed, and deputy managing director SM Khorshed Alam, among others, were present in the meeting.
The meeting approved some products and policy manuals for Islamic banking operations.
