Fire Service & Civil Defence SC emerged unbeaten champions in the Philosophia Second Division Chess League after the seventh and last round held at the Chess Federation hall-room on Thursday.
Fire Service earned 12 points to clinch the title while Toyota Motors finished runners-up following a play-off match against Agrani Bank after both secured 11 points.
The play-off match was held yesterday where Toyota Motors beat Agrani Bank.
Friends Chess Power ended fourth while Boroder Daba School finished fifth with eight points each while Rajshahi Daba Unnayan Sangstha finished sixth with seven points.
