An international CSR conference will be held in Dhaka later this month focussing corporate social practices of German businesses.
Organised by the Bangladesh German Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the conference will be held on October 28, chamber officials told New Age.
Daniel Seidl, executive director of the chamber, said the conference would focus the best practices and lessons learned and develop business strategies based on corporate social responsibility as a form of voluntary corporate self-regulation integrated into a company’s business model.
The conference will have presentation on social business by Noble laureate Muhammad Yunus.
