Rajshahi University reopens today amid tight security after Eid-ul-Azha.
Seven entry points on the campus have been given now in the charge of law enforcing agencies to avoid untoward situations, said a university release on Monday.
RU assistant proctor Mustak Ahmed told New Age that the identity cards of the students and entry passes of visitors would be checked before allowing them entrance into the campus.
RU proctor office also asked the concerned authorities to use registers at all entry points for the visitors.
The six university gates would be closed at 12:00am and hall gates at 10:00pm.
The university authorities would also increase the number of bulbs to provide more light on the campus for security purposes, said the release.
