At least six people were killed including two physicians and 50 more were injured in a road accident on Rajshahi-Naogaon highway at Sabaihaat in Naogaon on Monday evening.
Police said that a BRTC bus from Naogaon on its way to Rajshahi fell into a roadside ditch at Sabaihaat at around 6 6pm when the driver lost control of the vehicle.
Police and fire brigade men rushed to the spot and recovered four dead bodies from the bus.
Among the dead, police confirmed the identity of two as Mousumi Akter and Hasan Ahmed, physicians of Manda health complex.
Among the 50 injured people, two died on way to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital and their identity could not be confirmed immediately, police said.
