All 19 Bangladeshi cricketers who have applied to play in the next Indian Premier Cricket League have been put on the list for January 8-9 auction to be held at Mysore Hall, the Royal Gardenia Hotel, in Bangalore.
A total of 416 foreign players, including the Bangladeshis, have expressed their willingness to be a part of the cricketing extravaganza and they have been classified in six brackets ranging from $20,000 to $400,000.
Sakib has been offered the highest base price of $200,000 among the Bangladeshis and he was followed by Tamim, injured paceman Mashrafee bin Murtaza and former Indian Cricket League star Shahriar Nafees, who all have the base price of $100,000.
Mohammad Ashraful, Abdur Razzak, Roqibul Hassan, Junaed Siddique, Imrul Kayes, Mahmudullah,
Mushfiqur Rahim, Shafiul Islam, Shahadat Hossain, Syed Rasel, Naeem Islam and Sohrawardi Shuvo have been offered $50,000 base price.
Rubel Hossain, Jahirul Islam and uncapped batsman Shubhagata Hom were given $20,000.
