Boishakhi Television, a private television channel, has stepped into the sixth year of its journey yesterday.
Information Minister Abul Kalam Azad and Managing Director of Boishakhi Rafiqul Amin inaugurated the anniversary by cutting a cake at 12:01am yesterday, says a press release.
Mohammad Hossain, chairman of Destiny Group; Farid Akter, executive director of Baishakhi TV; Manjurul Ahsan Bulbul, CEO and editor-in-chief of the TV; Ashok Chowdhury, chief news editor; and Monirul Islam, director (marketing); also present at the programme.
Elaborate colourful programmes were held to celebrate the anniversary.
