North South University (NSU) yesterday held orientation ceremony for its newly enrolled undergraduate students of Spring 2011 semester on its campus in Bashundhara.
The students are from the departments of BBA, economics, environment, architecture, English, computer science, computer engineering, computer science and engineering, ETE, EEE, microbiology, pharmacy and biochemistry.
NSU Foundation Chairman Azim Uddin Ahmed was present as the chief guest while Vice Chancellor (VC) Dr Hafiz GA Siddiqi chaired the ceremony, says a press release.
Pro-VC Dr SAM Khairul Bashar, Dr Abul L Haque, Dr Golam Mohammad, Dr Selim Sarwar and Dr Donald James Gomes were present on the occasion.
Welcoming the new students, Azim said they are the most fortunate students of NSU, as they would enjoy the facilities of a state-of-the-art campus, envisioned two decades ago.
