The Jatrabari police in Dhaka recovered a hacked body of a young man from a wetland Monday morning.
Jatrabari police sub-inspector Hossain Ali Khandaker confirmed the recovery of the body near Saddam Market beside Dhaka-Aricha Highway in Jatrabrai.
The body of the young man aged about 26-year-old was recovered form the spot at 10:00am, he added.
He also said the youth’s identity was not confirmed and no case was filed in this regard.
The body was sent to Mitford Hospital morgue for post-mortem examinations, he said.
