Bangladesh Film Directors’ Association has cancelled membership of young film director and son of eminent director late Dilip Biswas, Debashish Biswas recently. His membership was cancelled in a general meeting that was held on July 8. Debashish married promising TV actress and host Tania Hossain on June 20 in 2009. Later Debashish avoided Tania due to unknown reason. He often also started to torture to Tania mentally. Tania did not accept it and wanted divorce from him. Due to lack of proper response from Debashish Tania went to the leaders of the Film Directors’ Association. Then on behalf of the Association a letter was given to Debashish in this connection. But Debashish didn’t response it positively. For this reason, to violate the rules of the Association membership of Debashish has been cancelled, said Mohammad Hannan.
