Brittanto ’71, a socio-cultural organisation, is going to arrange a charity concert titled ‘Concert for Humanity’ in the city’s Mirpur Indoor Stadium on July 15. With a view to raising fund for setting up a free health centre for the poor and underprivileged people titled ‘Sheba Kutir’, the newly formed organisation is arranging the show. ‘Sheba Kutir’ is supposed to provide free treatment and medicine facilities to the disadvantaged people of the society. Popular singers of the present generation Balam, Mila, Rajib, Porshi and hard rocking band teams Shironamhin and Warfaze are scheduled to perform in the show. Meanwhile, Brittanto ’71 was formed in the last year with the inspiration of Liberation War. Since its establishment, the organisation has been distributing books on liberation war to the school students freely, organising photo exhibition and film festival in a regular basis across the country.
