The Bangladesh national cricket team will return home on Sunday after completing their Europe tour where they played six Twenty20 international matches against Ireland, Scotland and the Netherlands.
Opener Mohammad Ashraful and Jahirul Islam along with coach Richard Pybus, fielding coach Jason Swift and bowling coach Shane Jurgenson are expected to reach the country next month.
Ashraful will stay back to play in the Kent Premier League for his Blackheath team while Jahirul Islam will be going to Bridgetown for his eye traeatment.
Pybus will return on August 9 as he will go to South Africa while Swift will return on August 6 and Jurgenson, who will be accompanying the Junior Tigers, will return at the end of August.
Bangladesh had a mixed fortune on the tour as they whitewashed Ireland in the three-match series in their own backyard to move into fourth position in the ICC Twenty20 rankings.
But they were brought down to earth by Scotland when they handed them a 34-run defeat in their first match in the Netherlands, though the Tigers registered an eight-wicket win against the hosts in their next match.
However, Netherlands beat them in their last match of the series as Bangladesh ended the tour on a losing note. The tour was arranged as part of their preparations for the ICC World Twenty20 to be held in Sri Lanka in September this year.
Bangladesh gained some positives from the tour as Tamim Iqbal returned to
some sort of form after hitting two back to back half-centuries against the Netherlands, with the first one being his maiden Twenty20 international half-century.
Tamim scored 215 runs at an average of 43 with a strike rate of 108.08 while Abdur Razzak was the most successful bowler with 10 wickets.
Elias Sunny picked up five wickets in his debut match while Mashrafee bin Murtaza also looked to be getting back his form.
