Popular singer Nancy will present several mixed albums in the upcoming Eid. The princess of melody of the local music industry hopes that her fans will love these songs, which, she claims, will be additional treat during the Eid bonanza.
Nancy has lent voice in a duet song titled ‘Bhalobasher swapno’ with Mamhmud Sunny which will be featured in a mixed album. In addition, she has recorded another duet with Topu in the mixed album titled Oporajita, initiated by famous lyricist and composer Prince Mahmud. Talking about the album she told New Age, ‘This is my first work with Prince Mahmud and I am really excited working with the talented composer.’
Another mixed album Kusumpurer Golpo is one of the most discussed albums of the Eid in which Nancy, Ferdous Wahid, Habib, Kona, Milon Mahmud, Sabina Yasmin and many more will be featured.
‘I am busy working in several mixed albums for Eid. I hope my fans will welcome the songs warmly since I gave my cent per cent effort in these endeavours ,’ Nancy told New Age. Explaining the reason behind not releasing any solo in the Eid, when the market turns to be very attractive one, Nancy said, ‘I released a solo album titled Rong in the Bangla New Year celebration in last April. So, I’m taking a break.
Nancy is one of the most successful female solo singers in Bangladesh. She started her music career with the music director Habib Wahid in the song ‘Hridoyer Katha’. Subsequently, she released one after another hit numbers including ‘Prithibir joto shukh’, ‘Hawai hawai dolna dole’, ‘Godhuli logon’ and ‘Didha’. Her first solo album ‘Bhalobasha Odhora’ was released in 2010. Renowned music directors like Habib Wahid, SI Tutul and others composed songs of the album.
