The 8th Dhaka Motor Show 2013 began at the Bangabandhu International Conference Centre in the city on Thursday. CEMS Global – Conference & Exhibition Management Services USA in association with CEMS Bangladesh is organising the event, said a press release.
Commerce minister GM Quader was present at the inaugural ceremony as the chief guest while Indian deputy high commissioner Sandeep Chakravorty, American Chamber of
Commerce in Bangladesh president Aftab Ul Islam, India- Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry president Abdul Matlub Ahmad and Automotive Component
Manufacturers’ Association of India executive director Vinnie Mehta were present as special guests.
Different car and motorcycle distributors and dealers along with banks, lubricant companies, CNG conversion companies and automotive component manufacturers and
importers from Bangladesh and abroad are showcasing their products in over 350 booths.
The show will remain open for trade and public visitors till March 30 from 11:00am to 9:00pm.
