Gareth Stanton, former head of the department of media and communications, Goldsmiths, University of London, UK called on Dhaka University vice-chancellor
Professor AAMS Arefin Siddique at the latter’s office on Saturday.
During the meeting, they discussed matters of mutual interest specially possibilities of exchange of teachers and students and researchers between the DU and the UK University and undertaking joint collaborative programmes in the fields of higher education and research, said a press release of DU.
Chairperson of the department of DU mass communication and journalism Professor Akhtar Sultana and other teachers were present on the occasion.
