State minister for Law Justice and Parliamentary affairs Advocate Qamrul Islam on Friday warned that none would be spared if found creating anarchy in the country in the name of movement. Bangabandhu Academy organised a discussion at the Diploma Engineers in observance of the fourth death anniversary of the internationally famed nuclear scientist late Dr MA Wajed Miah. He alleged that BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia and her party were born in the womb of Jamaat-Shibir. He accused the BNP-Jamaat of unleashing terror in the country in a bid to save war criminals who committed crimes against humanity during the Liberation War in 1971.
Being financed by ISI, BNP-Jamaat forces are hatching conspiracies against the government and unleashing terror activities across the country, he added.
Referring to the Hefazat-e-Islam, a newly floated Islamists group, Quamrul Islam said BNP-Jamaat has created the Islamist organisation to oust the government by creating anarchy in the country but their evil design did not succeed and they would be vanished from the country within a short period.
Speaking at the discussion Forest and Environment minister Hasan Mahmud described BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia as the leader of terrorists. “Considering the recent terror activities unleashed by BNP-Jamaat workers, it can be said that Khaleda Zia is a leader of terrorists, not an opposition leader,” he said.
