The Delhi Police today (Friday) said it has no reasons to interrogate cricketer Rahul Dravid or Rajasthan Royals owners Raj Kundra and Shilpa Shetty in connection with the spot-fixing case in which three players were arrested, online edition of the Outlook said on Friday. “Delhi Police has no reasons to invite them to join investigation of the spot fixing case,” Delhi Police spokesperson Rajan Bhagat said.
He said the reports that police may interrogate Shilpa Shetty or Raj Kundra or Rahul Dravid after the IPL match in Delhi on May 21 were wrong.
Earlier, The Times of India reported that the Delhi Police is likely to quiz Rajasthan Royals captain Rahul Dravid and co-owners Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra in the IPL spot-fixing case. All three have to appear before Delhi Police on May 21.
A Delhi court on Thursday remanded to five-day custody S. Sreesanth, Ankit Chavan, Ajit Chandila and 11 bookies arrested in connection to the scam.
