A three-day mango, silk fair and public festival was launched at Green Plaza
ground of Rajshahi City Corporation on Thursday.
Amra Rajshahibasi, a civic front of Rajshahi people, organised the festival
in collaboration with mobile operator Banglalink.Rajshahi University vice-chancellor inaugurated the fair and festival as
chief guest. Amra Rajshahibasi president Abu Bakkar Ali, Rajshahi University folklore department professor Saifudin Choudhury, senior scientific officer of Chapainawabganj Mango Research Station Shadikul Islam, Amra Rajshahibasi general secretary Helal Uddin and Banglalink Rajshahi regional head Mizan Maruf addressed the inaugural programme.
