Old DOHS beat Flame Boys Club by57-45 points in the Citycell Premier Division Basketball League held on Saturday at the Dhanmondi Basketball Gymnasium in the city.
The winners led the first half by 35-27 points.
Akib and Asif were the highest scorers with 13 points each for Old DOHS while Uttam with 17 points and Habib with 11 points contributed for Flame Boys.
On Friday’s last evening matches, Europa Youth defeated Eagles by 94-61 points after dominating the first half by 60-23 points while the Gragarious crushed Dhumketu by 139-34 points after leading the first half by 67-14.
The championship-deciding match between Europa Youth and the Gregarious will be held on Monday (July 1) at the same venue with State Minister for Youth and Sports M Ahad Ali Sarkar MP is expected to present as the chief guest.
