A schoolboy was strangled at Kalachandpur of Gulshan in the capital Thursday mooring.
The victim was identified as Tilak Augustine Palma, 15,
a Class IX student of Kalachandpur High School and College.
The victim’s father, Komol Patrick Palma, told New Age that Tilak was alone in the flat in the mooring.
When her mother returned home, she found him unconscious and wounded.
Then he was rushed to United Hospital at Gulshan where he died at around noon.
According to inquest report, there were marks of wound in the neck and palm.
Gulshan police station subinspector Syed Alamgir Hossain said primarily it seemed that he was strangled.
The body was taken to Dhaka Medical Hospital for post-mortem examination.
