Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) emerged champion in the Walton Invitational National Men’s Handball beating Bangladesh Police by 34-25 goals in the final at the Shaheed (Captain)
M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium on Monday.
They led the first half by 13-11 goals. Imdadul Haque scored 10 goals, Khairuzzaman and Sudhan Barua scored six goals each for the winners while Mahbubul Alam netted seven goals for the losers.
Imdadul Haque of BGB was adjudged the best player of the tournament while Hira of Chuadanga DSA named as the best goal-keeper of the meet.
