An apparel factory owner was shot at by terrorists at
Merul Badda in the capital Tuesday afternoon.
Md Siddiqur Rahman, 35, owner of Nur Jahan Trade Accessories Limited,
was shot at his office at around 3:30pm.He received two bullets in both the knees, said victim’s friend Sraban Master.
Sraban suspected that Imran, an employee of his apparel factory, is behind the incident.
He told New Age that there was an altercation between Siddiqur and Imran, on Monday.
He threatened Siddiqur and fled the scene Tuesday noon.
As soon as Imran left the factory, three miscreants entered Siddiqur’s office and shot at him, said Srabon.
Siddiqur was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
Earlier, an apparel factory owner was shot at by a local miscreant in the city’s Mirpur area on Monday morning demanding toll from the factory authorities.
