BNP acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir on Monday scotched media reports of his plan to meet the party’s senior vice-chairman Tarique Rahman, who is undergoing treatment in London. “I have no schedule for a formal meeting with Rahman in London. At best, I may talk to him over the phone to enquire about his health,” Alamgir told reporters at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport before flying off to London.
