A two-day film festival featuring four Russian fairy tale films has been arranged at the Daffodil International University Auditorium on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Cultural department of the embassy of the Russian Federation in Bangladesh arranged the festival jointly with Daffodil International University.
On the beginning day, two fairy tale films-The Tale of Tsar Saltan, directed by Alexander Ptushko and Aladin’s Magic Lamp,directed by Boris Rytsarev were screened at 11.00am and 1.00pm respectively.
Today two other films-The Little Mermaid, directed by Bychkov Vladimir and Finist – the Bright Falcon, directed by Gennady Vassiliev will be screened at 11.00am and 1.00pm respectively.
Anyone interested can enjoy the films at the Sobhanbag campus of Daffodil International University. The show is open for all.
