The Press Institute of Bangladesh organised a training workshop on ‘reporting related to digital Bangladesh’ in Khulna city on Thursday.
The daylong training workshop, held at the circuit house, was organised in cooperation with Access to Information Project of the prime minister’s office and the Ministry of Information.
The vice-chancellor of Khulna University of Engineering and Technology, Professor Muhammad Alamgir, inaugurated the workshop as chief guest which was presided over by the PIB director general, Md Shah Alamgir.
The Dainik Purbanchal editor, Liakat Ali, also president of Khulna Divisional Press Club Federation, was present there as special guest and PIB trainer Parvin Sultana Rabbi acted there as coordinator.
