The Bangladesh Nationalist Party chairperson, Khaleda Zia, leaves Dhaka for Saudi Arabia today to perform umrah at the invitation of the Saudi government.
She will stay in Madinah from July 28 to July 31 to say prayers at Masjid Al-Nabawi and say prayers at the grave side of the Prophet Muhammad (SM), the BNP chairperson’s Saudi Arabia affairs special emissary M Enamul Haque Chowdhury told New Age on Friday.
Khaleda will stay in Makkah from July 31 to August 5 to perform umrah and say prayers at Masjid Al-Haram. She is scheduled to return home on August 6.
Khaleda has been performing umrah in Ramadan for a few years.
