An apparel worker was stabbed to death at Bholail of Fatullah in Narayanganj on Friday.
The deceased was Faridul Islam, 22, of Bagha Jalakandi at Dhunat in Bogra who lived at Deobhog Banglabazar and worked with Shaon Garments factory at Bholail.
Sabuj, a cousin of the deceased, said that they had heard that on his way back home after his night-shift duty, Faridul came to be attacked by some people and someone had dumped the body in front of his house.
Rahima Begum, mother-in-law of the deceased, filed a murder case with the Fatullah police.
