Popular actor Sajal will perform in two Eid special teleplays to be aired on two channels today. He is paired with popular actor Opi Karim in Deyaler Oparey Achhey Akash which will be aired at 8:10 on Banglavision.
He will also perform a lead role in Jodi Dako Phirey Asbo which will be aired at 3:05pm on Baishakhi TV.
In fact, this Eid remained an eventful one for Sajal, who had been totally occupied over the past few months to shoot for Eid teleplays. The actor said that he had worked from morning to late night everyday to complete his jobs with noted play directors.
One interesting experience that the small screen actor gathered was through working with leading Dhallywood actors.
‘It was really an exciting experience for me to perform opposite to silver screen actors like Moushumi and Popy. Both of them are very professional and cooperative. In the play where I acted opposite to Moushumi was also directed by her. So I consider it to be a rare achievement in my life that she has selected me to play the challenging character,’ said Sajal adding that in the rest of the plays he also enjoyed performing with leading small screen actors like Aupi Karim, Bindu, Mim, Mehzabin, Tisha and others.
‘I enjoyed acting in all of the plays and I always try to give my best performance for every role I enact. So, it’s difficult for me to mention a few names from several good works,’ said Sajal claiming that his fans would like his
acting in the Eid teleplays directed by Moushumi, Ferdous Hasan, Tonmoy Tansen, Sakal Ahmed, Shahin Kabir Tutul and others.
The actor elaborated that he always tries hard to improve his skills. ‘After completing a task, I try to evaluate my performance and think how I could do better,’ Sajal added.
In his acting career spanning 10 years, Sajal expressed his satisfaction about his performances particular teleplays such as Celebrity Ekattor, Tomra Bhule Gechho Mollika’dir Naam, Anutapta and Hey Rajkonya.
But, he has a thirst to act in more challenging characters. ‘I wish I could enact a complex character of a mentally challenged person as performed by popular Hollywood actor Tom Hanks in Forest Gump,’ Sajal said.
