This year Chittagong Education Board will re-examine a total of 28,008 answer sheets of 7,978 HSC examinees. The revised results will be published on September 3, said Dr Pijush Dutta, examination controller of the board. The results will be published on the board’s website. Students can also know their results through Teletalk SMS service. The students seeking re-evaluation of their answer sheets were asked to apply by August 13, said Pijush Dutta.
This year, Chittagong Education Board saw a remarkable decrease in the pass rate in the HSC examinations. The pass rate stands at 61.22 percent while it was 72.31 last year, showing an 11.09 percentage point decrease.
