The sixth installation programme of Sylhet Valley Rotary Club was held in the city on Sunday night. The club outgoing president, Shawkatur Rahman, handed over the charge for 2013-14 rotary year to its incumbent president Khalilur Rahman Chowdhury at the programme held at a city hotel.
Former rotary district government Manzurul Haque Chowdhury, urged the Rotarians to continue their humanitarian services for the mankind.
Rotary Club of Sylhet Valley former and incumbent president jointly chaired the installation programme. Prominent sports personnel (table tennis) Zubera Rahman Linu addressed the programme as a main speaker.
Rotarian district governor MA Latif and former Rotarian president Ali Wasiquzzaman Chowdhury and Biplob Kumar Roy, former district secretary general Sahid Ahmed Chowdhury, Rotarian assistant district trainer Ataur Rahman Pir, assistant district governor, Anwar Mazid Chowdhury, Mahbub Sobhani Chowdhury and multi-district intercity meeting affair chairman Syed Ashraf Ahmed, among others, also attended the programme.
Khan Mohammad Farid Uddin Babar and Kazi ABM Azfal Hossain Mahin were formally installed as the member of RCSV in the programme.
