Oishee Rahman, daughter of the slain special branch police inspector Mahfuzur Rahman and his wife Shapna Rahman, is giving `cooked-up information’ during her police remand in connection with the killings the investigators have launched massive hunt for her two friends to verify her information. The investigators are saying that the daughter of the couple, Oishee Rahman still giving different types of statements in the remand session. Initially she said that she did not kill her parents while in later statements she confessed to the killing of her parents along with her two friends.
On the other hand, the little brother of Oishee and the plaintiff Moshiur Rahman Rubel demanded fair probe into the incident. He told The Independent that he still dose not believe in the police story that Oishee was involved in the killing.
However, Monirul Islam, joint-commissioner of Detective Branch of Police, who is leading the investigation team of the murder, told The Independent that they have got `all possible’ clue that Oishee was involved in the murder and that they will unearth the mystery behind the gruesome killing just after arresting two other friends of Oishee who are still at large.
Those two friends were identified as Jony and Saidul Islam. They are residents of capital’s Bashila area and are local goons, who used to supply drugs to Oishee. The investigators said that during remand session, Oishee informed that those two mainly took part in the killings and entered into the house and stayed at the flat at night.
Earlier, on August 16, police recovered the body of Mahfuzur Rahman and his wife Shapna Rahman from a rented flat of Chamely mansion. A day after the incident, their daughter, also the prime suspect of the murder surrendered herself at Paltan police station and the next day, a Dhaka court placed Oishee and their 10-year-old housemaid on a five-day police remand.
According to the investigators, Oishee was personally involved in the murder and she did that from frustration and cruel attitude of her parents as she used to take contraband drugs yaba and went to different bars.
