A woman was hurt as a crude bomb went off in the capital’s Jurain on Sunday.
The victim was identified as Ruksana Begum, 30,
wife of Jahangir Alam and resident of Jurain Railway area.
Abdul Halim, subinspector of Shyampur police, said Roksana was stepping down from a rickshaw in front of her house at Munshi Bari on Jurain Pipe Road at around 10.00am on Sunday.
Suddenly three crude bombs exploded near her, leaving her injured with splinters hitting in the chest, abdomen and legs.
Locals sent Roksana to Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
None was arrested in this connection.
Filing of a case was under process, the officer said.
