A daylong workshop titled ‘Entrepreneur Development Workshop-2013’ was held at Rajshahi University on Wednesday. Rajshahi University and the Dhaka Chambers of Commerce and Industries jointly organised the workshop at the university’s Kazi Nazrul Islam
Auditorium with the association of RU Career Club with a view to creating new entrepreneurs across the country, the organizers said.
The RU vice-chancellor, Professor Muhammad Mizanuddin, addressed the chief guest in the inaugural session.
RU business administration faculty dean Dr Amzad Hossain, Bangladesh Bank representative M Khurshid Wahab and DCCI senior consultant Dr Sayeed Maruf Reza, among others, spoke on the occasion.
The organisers urged
for business plans from the entrepreneur within September 15 and they informed that two
thousand entrepreneur would be selected from the submitted business plans by holding a conference
at RU on November this year.
The Bangladesh Bank will financially support
the selected business plans, the organisers
added.
