The Sylhet Kotwali police arrested nine suspected miscreants in separate drives in the city between Thursday late night and early Friday. The police alleged that the arrestees were wanted in different cases including hijacking and murder. The police also seized a revolver with ammunition, a motorcycle, Tk 1,01,500 in cash from their possession.The arrestees were identified as Raju Ahmed Raju, 28, Helal, 25, Rubel Miah alias Deka Rubel, 22, Raja Miah, 27, Abdul Mumin, 22, Mohammad Ali, Zakir, 28, Kutubur Rahman, 30, and Azizul Haq, 31, the sources said.
