Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services held a workshop for 200 IT freelancers in the city on Saturday to bring them under the DCCI’s project of creating 2,000 entrepreneurs.
Information and communication technology secretary M Nazrul Islam Khan was present at the workshop as the chief guest. DCCI president M Sabur Khan was also present.
Sabur Khan invited the IT freelancers to register their business and start their career as entrepreneurs, said a press release.
He also said young IT freelancers would get all support from DCCI to register their businesses and suggested them to submit their business ideas by September 30 at www.business.org.bd
Sabur Khan informed the would-be entrepreneurs present at the workshop that the Bangladesh Bank was cooperating with the DCCI in making the project a success.
He also said that the central bank will support the innovative 2,000 business projects to get finance from banks, and sought cooperation from all in making DCCI’s initiative of creating 2,000 entrepreneurs a grand success.
