Three teachers of Benapole High School were injured as a group of unruly students beat them up during the time of assembly on Monday.
The injured were identified as headmaster Shaukat Ali and assistant teachers Abu Raihan and Nazrul Islam. They were rushed to a private clinic for treatment. Teachers said the students, led by Shahjil Hossain, attacked the three teachers as the main gate of the school was locked at the time of assembly at around 9:00am.
Mizanur Rahman Khan, officer-in-charge of Benapole port police station, told journalists that Shahjil is a casual student.
