The Forum of Election Management Bodies of South Asia has chosen the logo submitted by Bangladesh Election Commission for the organisation, according to a press release of the EC.
The South Asian forum in its fourth annual general meeting held at Thimpu from October 2 to 4 finalised the logo for the newly formed organisation.Bangladesh had submitted a total 10 logos for the organisation. The logo chosen by the organisation was designed by Bangladeshi designer Toufiq Elahi.
A four-strong delegation, led by the chief election commissioner, Kazi Rakibuddin Ahmad, attended the annual general meeting.
